  1. "Canvassing for President Obama is much like working as a door-to-door vacuum cleaner salesman. The product may be great, but it may not be enough to clinch a deal.

On Saturday morning in the Avenues of Salt Lake City, Maggie Flanigan and Rose Nelson are knocking on doors, hard at work for the Obama agenda."

    Creepy stuff.

  2. Utah is pretty used to creepy people at their door, in fact they are the mother of all creepy people going door to door worldwide...

  3. Lucrum

    Lucrum

I wish they would come to my door.

I like to greet solicitors with a ball bat and a "WTF do you want?" (I don't threaten them with the bat, I just let them see it.)

If they start their spiel anyway I just close the door in their face.

  4. Yes, that is the correct way to deal with the Mormons at the door...

  5. I thought I heard this weekend that this was happening in every state...?

Hmmm - lets send 14 and 15 year olds out to "get the message out".

It's becoming more clear everyday that Obama is losing whatever amount of control he had.

  6. Americans are under the illusion that the president is the government...

Americans place too much expectation on one human being.

King George Dubya had a lot to do with that, as did Clinton and daddy Reagan...
