Does anyone know of where or how to find good networking opportunities in the Los Angeles area? I've tried through my school and just searching Google for finance conferences, but they don't offer much. If anyone is interested in helping a motivated, quick learner find an opportunity, I'd love to hear advice. I have a BS in financial analysis and several related certifications. I realized I was chasing certs too much and not networking enough I'm about to finish the Python3 certification on SoloLearn today or tomorrow, but I need to meet some buy-side industry people and it's hard to get to speak with anyone. Any thoughts?
