Anyone know if this is the same Weiss??? *********************************************** MORAGA Alleged Peeping Tom held after car chase Jim Herron Zamora Thursday, October 30, 2003 After a brief high-speed car chase, Moraga police arrested a suspected Peeping Tom who was allegedly peering into the windows of a women's dormitory at St. Mary's College and using a camcorder to videotape students. Robert Alan Weiss, 44, of Orinda, was arrested at about 10:15 p.m. Sunday on Lucille Road in Lafayette after he led officers on a high-speed chase from the St. Mary's campus, where he was spotted holding a camcorder outside a dormitory window, Moraga Police Chief Brad Kearns reported Wednesday night. After a student and a campus public safety officer chased Weiss to his car, he allegedly tried to run them over, Kearns said. Weiss may be linked to a series of earlier prowling incidents on the campus, Kearns said. Weiss was being held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and reckless driving while authorities go through evidence recovered from his car, Kearns said in statement.
