Sorry, you're making no sense at all. I'll ask you for the third time to point out how many wealthy countries aside from the outliers I mentioned don't have relatively high taxes. If you want to live in Somalia go knock yourself out. It's the closest thing to what you seem to be advocating, although to be honest it's so senseless to think of every individual building their own police department, fire department, roads, schools, military...that I'm not really sure wtf you're advocating for? Where do you live, by the way? And wherever that is, you certainly don't use any services paid for by taxes, never have?

I know, you are not used to this idea. But it's actually very simple. As the national wealth goes up, taxes must go down over time.

It's like magic, maybe it comes from unicorn dust at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando?

You are aware of the fact Florida collects over $100B a year in taxes, yes? Income tax isn't the only way to tax. It's also a good place to retire precisely because the large retired population doesn't require as many schools and other infrastructure and the retirees are bringing in a bunch of wealth from people just like you who earned it using the infrastructure from their original home state. Great for FL but hardly replicable over an entire country.

Says you? Again, the real world proves you wrong, something that's clearly pretty damn inconvenient for you since this is now the fourth time you've tried to ignore it. You don't just get to make shit up, the real world doesn't work that way.

Profound, just profound. The clarity of your logic is nothing short of mind numbing.

@R1234 . I was going to tell you but I'll change it to a question...how do YOU think FL provides such services ?

Since it may be your eventual destination you may want to answer it before you move.

Florida does not have a state income tax. They must be getting all those "taxes" from somewhere else. Like property taxes! Wheeee!
