  2. It's a shame America has no "mandatory* military service" like many other countries.

Even if you serve in a non-combat role, you're still "supporting the troops"... either administratively or logistically... as essential as the combat soldier.

When you're in the the military, you doing the military's business... which is "defending the US".

If everyone served even a 2-year hitch, people would feel differently about our home land and a much higher percentage would think like you and me.

And this business about Odumbo gutting the military may be putting us at significant risk... makes me wanna puke! THE PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS TO DEFEND THE HOME LAND!!

    :(

    * Makes me wonder whether abolishing the draft in favor of an all-volunteer armed forces was part of the long-term plan of the American Leftist/Socialists... Fewer people serve in the military = more people willing to accept Socialist tyranny.. ??

  5. I'm just thinking we have bigger fights to fight than this, and I'm not sure this particular issue is about exercising freedom as much as it's about discrimination.
As an example at a state and local level, I'm much more concerned about militarizing local police departments than gays being served at some business establishment. When the oppression begins full swing, it won't be the military driving an armoured vehicle down your street, it'll be the cops, and that's a real problem. When police no longer serve and protect, but treat everyone as hostile combatants, we're in deep doo-doo.

Well, the AZ gov just vetoed the bill. Looks like people there will be forced to take pics of faggots kissing at their sick weddings, among other sickness I can only imagine. And yes, John McCain was the one who pressured her the most to do it. He was a good Sailor, but is a fucking nightmare of a political leader.

Last, if I owned a photo business and two fags wanted to FORCE me to take pics of their EVIL, I'd take my punishment, THEN get my paybacks costing the local/state gubment that forced me. Oh yes, it would cost them 10/1 after I got done!

Actually, these arguments usually boil down to effective-govt supporters vs. people who value anarchy.

When I wore a badge and gun, our police magazines/catalogs showed ads for uniform shot like gun belts, light bars, uniform stuff, etc., I saw one a couple of years ago, and was almost sick after that. Armored vehicles, tactical gloves, goggles, knee pads, tac vests, and more. It's FAR too late to save the image of the old beat cop with a gun, and a slap jack in his back pocket. Today it's all about intimidating people, and using VERY EXCESSIVE force to control what used to be free people. Cops aren't Soldiers, or Marines, but now think they are. I don't take pride in saying this, but I can't stand the mother fuckers today, and have absolutely no respect for more than half the Gestapo bastards! Have you guys seen "cops reloaded" on tv. Rights are violated in damned every scene they show. When I did that job, we would have been thrown in fed prison for what these pricks do today! Goodbye America! Even the lawyers have given up...

Horseshit. While there certainly may be folks that "value anarchy" in that group, most of them simply want to be left alone - free of government intrusion. That is not anarchy, even if your "type" thinks it is.
