  1. If you use limit-on-open orders, dont they have to fill you at the open, by definition?

  2. Yes, exactly, by definition. Give it a try.

  3. where are the open order players? this thread has not been updated for almost a month. I wonder if those frequent posters are still playing this strategy. The OO only has very slight advantage, and can only feed a few players. with more people joining it, it is finally killed.

  4. I've been slacking on posting the openings...very big school and boot camp this time around...

I'll post up the boot campers results at the end...give a full look.

  5. Today, me with PG only +23 cents.

Only 6 boot campers staying for the next two weeks.

5 players, 4 winners, no losers, one no fills.

    (I'll post a better spreadsheet).

  8. First 4 days for the remaining boot campers. We "force" as much as we can into the first 2 weeks, then some go home or back to another office. I have 7 left.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday all net winners. Thursday only loss. Still up a total of 144 cents. I'll put graph on flash drive after tomorrow morning and post up details.

Today, me just HPQ up 7.5 cents.

  9. OK, for the week. Boot campers had 77 fills, 49 winners, 22 losers, balance break evens. Up 375 cents net...not great about a nickel per trade net. Still "ok" but not great...we'll do better next week when we start the automated program.

  10. If every one in your camp runs the automaton, do you think they are not killing each other since shares in the OO are relatively small? for example, BGU, average daily volume is 8 million, but the shares for open cross is only 6 thousand. if there are 10 people in you camp competing for the 6000 shares, the slight benefit from OO will vanish.
