I don't care about technical levels, but I will sometimes skip a stock the day or days after a crazy move on big volume. I trade several different strategies. No single one contributed more than 1/3 to my total yearly P/L. But I don't do any tape reading.

VinMan- when you quote the P&L per share are you counting both the entry and exit trades? In other words, let's say you make $100 gross profit by shorting 1,000 shares. If you include covering the short, the total shares traded are 2,000. Would that be +5 cents per share? (100 / 2000)
