I like the way they think in fact that is what the overall is...however it is from those stocks that i get the stocks that i am going to set my OO orders with. So if the Overall for the morning is 20 stocks, after blocks (news/earnings/etc...) there is usually 5 to 10 (with mechanical stops of course ). That is why the average loss on the overall goes from .95 down to .40 on the traded. However this is where i am having the most trouble...getting my profit/loss ratio better than 1:2. maby you could be of some assistance the mornings are too wild not to have a wide stoploss but then you end up fighting the current, so to speak, if the trade REALLY goes against you.
I see imbalances in the quote monitor, which is nice, since I thought they were going to be in the NYOB. They are updating too. Nice to GET some information for a change, instead of them TAKING it away, and increasing fees while they're at it.
It appears that half the servers showed the imbalances, and the other half should be online tomorrow. Can't really see much difference at this point. Today was good. 8 fills, 6 winners, 2 small losers +$480. (about 5 cents net). Shoulda waited again. Back to it tomorrow. Don
3 fills, all small winners. +19 cents MRK, WMT, and TWX I love the MOC imbalances updating every 15 seconds... the pre-market updates...hmmm? Not sure since we place like 20 million shares about 2 minutes prior to the open. It's ok when we place 2 sided orders, but not when we only place one side. Might affect pricing...still not sure, have to watch a few more days. Don
Can we see the imbalance for a specific stock per the new nyse stuff or are they just batched all together? Basically can I type in stock XYZ and see the opening imbalance (if any). I'm on the anvil platform (FWIW)... -Guru
2 fills short PFE TWX for an overall scratch day Having the imbalances back is nice, almost like old times LOL guru : I can see them for each stock in my quote window Good long weekend to all
