i often see people talking about 0.2 envelope, what does it mean? does it mean 0.2 percent from the previous close or something else? can anyone clarify, please.
It means 0.2 percent of the "opening price" of the stock adjusted for fair value, which is calculated from the FV opening of the S&P 500. I believe the previous threads, which are linked on the first page of this thread, will show you how to perform the calculations. Or we could do it here, since it's really easy.
