Opening Orders - 2008

  1. Actually "Market on Close" from the published imbalances. This strategy has gotten a bit easier and safer since July when they started to update the imbalances every 20 seconds or so.

  2. Ok, thanks, and feel free to leak more details. :D As I study the Series 7 material I'm also putting together an equity trade plan.

  3. With the constant updates when does one initiate the MOC trade or does one build into a position according to the updates?

  4. "All MOC orders must be received at NYSE by 15:40 ET unless entered to offset a published imbalance. "

"New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) rules also prohibit the cancellation or reduction in size of any market-on-close (MOC) order after 15:40 ET."

  10. Every once in a while KO gives me a big winner, +.22 on that short, and +.08 on trusty PFE short.
