I don't think that is right even if it is I don't think it increases my costs. I made my decision after seeing the actual commissions paid. SMART was costing me more than routing to BATS directly
Is anyone still trading OPG strategy? I see the margin becomes so thin that it can hardly overcome commission.

Are there some people still trading OPGs in 2016? It was ( and perhaps still is ) a really interesting strategy based on an apparently unnatural imbalance created by specialists on openings. But what is the importance of the specialist today( sorry I am not a stock trader so I don't know )? Thanks for the informative posts from Don( RIP ) and Lescor.
