    Hi total_keops,

just wanted to thank you so very much for your help and support. I think I'm making good progress and should be able to finish the prototype soon.

  2. Placed wide orders on 4, no fills.
Spreadsheet is now more "in control". Still have some work to be done.

  3. As I said two years ago, OPG strategy is almost dead. it does not worth effort.

  4. Thanks for the input. 2 Years ago I was profitable. But yes it is possible that it is not as good as it was. I like to try things by myself so I will trade a couple sessions or weeks and see what it gives.

i kind of doubt it..in current environment where bots have so many ways to step on front of your order it's hard to get a decent fill anywhere

  8. We have quite a few doing well. We still enter a couple of million shares each morning... we generally use our own "bots" - automated programs for proper retracement orders etc.

A bit more "thinking" goes into the orders, but worth it. Not like the good old days of throwing spaghetti against the wall, LOL.

  9. Don,

when you said "We still enter a couple of million shares each morning", how many shares of them will be filled on average? I heard the liquidity has dried up for open orders.

  10. Per trader it varies from about 5% to 30% or so. A few hundred thousand on average. Things change, and this tactic has changed, but is still part of the arsenal.
