  1. been down since 2:10:45 CDT. talked to Keith at 2:16 and said they are having technical difficulties but said it should be back up in a few minutes. who knows at this point.......!!!!!!!!!!

    EDIT at 2:24 CDT:
Thanks to my eSignal, I saw that my long ES position was exited at 1311.50. I had other orders outstanding so I just called and talked to Ross who cancelled my remaining orders. It is reasons like this I'm glad I have a separate data service so I can see what's going on! Continued frustration with OEC....

    EDIT at 2:27:
It's back up! Down for 17 min. total (+/- 1 minute)

Same thing here on the demo. I called support and was told thaty it was just the demo. But I guess he didnt know I also had a real account and it is doing the same thing. I would be really pissed if I had money on the line but I am just paper trading today. I really am pulling for them to get the problem resolved but they need to be more honest and tell people Look we have problems. just for a heads up if nothing else. Seems to me that would be the proffesional thing to do.

Also when I called I was told that there would be a platform update in a day or two.

  5. Bubba the Fedex delivery guy tripped over the power cable to the primary trading server. They failed over to their backup server, but now we have to wait for their head of trading to delete his porn from the boot drive to free up some space for the swap file

  7. Just to throw this in, this is the main reason you should ALWAYS have a backup broker (or two) who trade the same things as your main broker (so you can at least hedge your open positions).

I've been told multiple times that it only affects a few people. I don't really believe this to be the case any more.
