I've been good yesterday and today. That fiasco on Monday was unbelievable. I think I got about 20 seconds warning that they were shutting down their servers and I had an open position at the time. Ended up calling them several times throughout the day to close positions, that was not much fun. I was told the Monday troubles were in no way related to the software problems of the past 2 weeks. The DOM freezing problems seems to have been resolved (finally!) at least for me.

  3. When you call them do you need to call their 800 # on the website or do they give you a # for the rj o'brien trade desk?

No disconnects yesterday or so far today....

today though within the quote window over the course of the day i've noticed several (<3) price freezes but only for a couple of seconds then price updates start coming through again.....overall ok

i remember from last week they had a couple of good days then it all fell apart spectacularly ....

Because of that i plan to judge them on the stability of their network/platform over weeks & months not days.....

also waiting for a s/w update to iron out the bugs following the last s/w release......

I call the OEC 800#. From there you can talk to the trading desk or the tech department.

    OEC disconnect @ 3:07pm EDT for 2-minutes.

Also, 30-second price data feed PAUSE @ 3:17pm EDT, which results in quotes, charts and DOM all freezing-up!

  7. That is the funniest post I have ever read within a trading community! I haven't laughed like that in years. Thanks so much, I really needed it!

  9. OEC's DOM was just down again. Up and running but that kind of stuff is getting really old!
