Hi guys, maybe a dumb question, but wanted to ask if there is a site or some service that will let me know what is the aproximate sentiment of the market? What i mean is, I know in FOREX there is no open interest, but i have heared of reports that say there is so many long positions opened, and so many short positions opened, mainly by the big guys. And yes i know the big guys wont be really disclosing their positions and intentions, but this would be just for my reference to maybe gauge the market sentiment. So do you know of any place where i can get such info?

    Thnx for your help.

  2. FXCM posts a speculative sentiment index in which they report the long and short positions ratio within FXCM accounts. It is posted once a week on Thursday.

Akmos also has a sentiment indicator in graph form, that shows relative positions for Akmos accounts, it is updated in real time, just refresh the page.

I have attempted to apply this information to my trading, but found it to be inconsistent and unreliable.

Note: The FXCM link will probably take you to the April 27th report indefinitely, in order to view the current report you may have to go to the bottom and click "NEXT"
