    duh
As I say, verring off logic and common sense is clearly the preferred method of laying claim to an implausible Creator.

    correction....
as I meant to say , ...constantly veering away from fundamental logic and common sense manifestly is the preferred method of laying claim to an implausible Creator.

Ask yourself this Jem, or Res-Judicata if you are going to be inclined to start cross-dressing again when you post. What do you understand multiverse means from what Hawking says in the OP? No need for God?

For instance, has it ever occurred to you that IF multiverses, then they themselves would come from nothing!?

There is no necessity to rely on multiverses to dispel the necessity for a Creator.Whether one or many, the laws of physics allow a universe to appear spontaneously from nothing.

  3. Nice try STUpid, but it doesn't obfuscate let alone negate the fact that I totally owned you here, by turning your own "logic" against you.

How is that "verring [sic] off logic and common sense"?

Are you saying two things that are equally implausible are NOT equally plausible? Please do so I can own you again.

  4. Has it ever occurred to you, STUpid, that they would not necessarily have to "come from nothing," God or no God?

Your'e getting tedious with posts that are no more than insult and illogical statements.

Quit with the all the childish name calling and I'll go over your illogical assertions.
Otherwise you can well, ... piss off. :)

  6. ROTFLMAO!!!! What's getting tedious is pointing out your spectacular STUpidity :p You say that my posts are no more than insults and illogical statements? Let's see about that.

I highlighted your colossal ignorance here:
    http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2952513#post2952513

And showed how you conceded by your own logic that God is just as plausible as no God here:

Have a nice day STUpid :)

You are still missing the gravity (pun intended) of the situation. Twice....

    1. How do the laws of physics allow for the universe to appear spontaneously from nothing? Is it because of M theory...
You do not even understand it. You are going to have to run out to the store and buy the book.

    2. has gravity allowed trillions and trillions of alternate universes to spontaneously exist? Do you have faith in other Stu's, do there have to be other Stu's. You have no idea. its all faith. its all guess work. We have not proof of alternate universes.

Bernard Carr - just explained that we looked fine tuned.
    Susskind did
    Now Hawking does.

So top scientists are saying ... you can accept the appearance of design or you can have faith in finding future proof of alternate universes.

As I have been telling you for years... it takes faith to be an atheist.

Note: You attempt to throw out insults with every post. Then you get all prissy, when I insult you back.

I have never met such a thin skinned troll as you.

    Keep telling it to yourself.
Two implausible things are plausible things - lol.

It's not so much 'keep the faith' but 'keep the confusion' as far as Gods and Creators are concerned.

WTF are you talking about? M Theory is about identifying membranes. Just between you and me ...How would a membrane be nothing ?

Gravity has allowed WHAT? Yes you are guessing. Why don't you stop playing Einstein and use some common sense for once. Spontaneously from nothing does not include gravity. A zero energy universe where gravity and matter balance out.... can begin from nothing.

Isn't it pointless you reading up though, as you purposely try to misunderstand everything that you see through those God Goggles of yours .

You are so stuck in the mud with that.
Susskind and Hawking both say no design.

    • "The idea that the universe was designed to accommodate mankind appears in theologies and mythologies dating from thousands of years ago.
That is not the answer of modern science."
    People are reading both lines.

Bernard Carr quote is explaining nothing. It's just question begging. If fine tuning is needed, why wouldn't a tuner need tuning?

    Prissy?
Don't make me laugh. You have hardly made a post over time without a whole bunch of unsolicited gratuitous insult along with it.

But then you've been saying a lot of very silly things for years.
Having no faith is having faith.... is one of those ridiculous things that obviously appealed to you.

You got it from a troll. You trolled it ever since.

  10. That's not what I wrote, STUpid, this is what I wrote:

Two things that are equally implausible are equally plausible.
    http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2953564#post2953564

It's obvious. It's also obvious that you have no ability to reason and no understanding of logic.

But to more formally school you and own you on this too:

    For a plausibility relation ⊆ between sentences, an expression ‘A ⊆ B’, says that A is no more plausible than B ... Two sentences are defined as equally plausible, A = B, just when A ⊆ B and B ⊆ A.
