[18:03] <JeffS> here is my watch list for tomorrow 5/8/03
[18:04] <JeffS> oops longs: BRW, PMCS, HLTH, DRIV, FCS, TIBX, BOL
[18:04] <JeffS> oops shorts: ADVP, HET, WPI, NBR
[18:06] <JeffS> swing longs: AES, APCC, CHPC, DCTM, ELNK, ENDP, KROL, MACR, MCRL, SKYW, TIBX, UNTD, WYE, XEL
[18:06] <JeffS> swing shorts: HMY, SWKS

from the last posted list (for trading on 5/6)

    oops longs:
COX triggered over the 30 minute high on 5/6 moving up nicely
    oops shorts:
    AMTD never triggered
    AOC did not trigger
    swing longs:
AOL gapped down for the last 2 days and some scalps were possible
    AVII did not trigger
CEG had a good day yesterday and a doji today
    FRE hasnt done much
    GE hasn't done much
HOTT had some small gains as it avanced through a couple of pivot lines
    UNTD never triggered
    XMSR gapped up to much
    XRAY triggered and stopped out
    swing shorts:
    ADBE gapped too far
AEM did not trigger but had a good sized move down today
APA fell in the morning, based in the afternoon and had a good sized move down
CHPC has moved down a bit and I'm now looking at it as a long
ERTS did not fall from resistance point
HMY looks like a good short now
    IMCLE did not trigger
    MON did not trigger
PMCS triggered today for a small gain
    SWKS triggered today
    WAG did not trigger

I'm basically looking long tomorrow and may concentrate on intraday setups depending on whether or not the market gaps up and holds its gains in the first half hour or so of trading.

there are intraday scans on the website which provide slf files for quick scanning using realtick. Just download and load them into a marketminder window. Once you get the hang of this technique you will find it quite useful. Today ADVP was the most interesting stock I got using this technique.

    oops longs:

PMCS gapped down almost 4% and then gained 2.5% over its 5 minute high

HLTH open flat, gained 1.6% over its 30 minute high then stopped out

DRIV gained 1.3% over its 30 minute high and then fell back now down 2%

FCS gained 1.7% over yesterday's low and gave back about half of the gains

TIBX gapped down over 2% and gained 2.8% over its 5 minute high

BOL opened flat and gained .96% before giving it all back

    oops shorts:

ADVP, HET, NBR did not trigger

WPI gained 1.25% under its 5 minute low but has given it all back

    swing longs:
most all continued their setups and are still valid for tomorrow

well Friday was a pretty good day. Swing trading is fast overcoming oops trading in my opinion, at least for now.

I didnt recommend it here but FWHT long was the only oops trade on the preferred list and it gained 2.4% over its 30 minute high if you were quick. Honestly I didnt take it because it ran too far in the first 30 minutes. It was a "gap surprise" and many traders take those gap setups right at the open.

WPI is still of interest to me as a short. It started as an oops short setup a few days ago, it is way extended, now has followed with a hammer and a doji.

My oops long selections had mixed results and were mostly neutral, but the other system picks did pretty well - IMCLE over 5 minute high, ACS,FWHT, and INFA over 30 minute high and all over 2% gainers. HLYW made 1.3% and is moving up nicely. ACS was the big winner scoring almost a 5% gain and closed near the day's high.

IMAX oops short gained 2.7% trading below yesterday's high but it was a very quick gain and if taken should have been covered when it neared its 200sma15.

CEG swing long from monday has performed great as has CHPC, LLTC, MAN, MCRL, and SKYW from thursday nights watch list. The other swing longs are mostly neutral and several are still being watched.

    the swing shorts are neutral.

here is my watch list for monday:

    oops longs: none
oops shorts: NVDA, GENZ, PDLI, FL, SVU
swing longs: UNTD, DCTM, APCC, KROL, CAL, CY, LUV, AZN, BE, IVX, AYE, BBH, JPM, USAI, BK, CC, DOX, ROOM, MTG, RSAS, FMT, LGND, JBLU
    swing shorts: BHE, RBK

large list, much will depend on the open tomorrow as it may ba a transitional day. over 300 stocks closed near their highs, so we may see a gap up tomorrow. potential there for gap+fall shorts but the nasdaq may still have another up day in its move up. I'de be careful here and look for gaps up to resistance at the open. Many times it needs a couple or a few of these days when there are lots of biased setups in a row before you get the great day. I'de also recommend taking partial profits on swing longs on gaps up in the morning.
    swing longs:
AYE, CTXS, CY, DOX, FMT, RSLN, SSFT
