I appreciate very much your response, deaddog I do have to comment that where I'm from in the US, the News Media are not showing the situation in Canada CNBC mentioned it on Squawk Box on Friday, showing people are going to be arrested for being out in the streets, but not to the extent of the fear I would feel if threatened with all accounts frozen, financial, insurance, everything, that could ruin a person and even a whole family's livelihood I get my sensationalist info from Twitter and a little bit of fud on YouTube. I'm sharing them below
But the governments around the world did no such thing when it came to the Black Lives Matter looters. They literally looted and burned down buildings. And before you tell me that I'm lying, I live in Atlanta, GA — where one of the "police shootings" took place in 2020 and I saw the destruction with my own eyes. And they did this all across the country but no state of emergency was declared. In fact, people were told that they'd better not interfere with them.
Which country do you live in? I know you said Atlanta, GA but where in Canada is Atlanta, GA located?
Well if you want tho use that argument, I tell you that there more black innocent people are getting killed by cops than white ones. There will always be arguments for and against. It would be better if both sides would stop their crimes. If one starts and the second does not follow, we clearly see who the real criminals are. Don't forget the black slavery and the mass killing of indians (like Wounded Knee) by the "innocenct and correct" white Americans. I am not black, I am white (caucasian), and I try to be objective.
I guess you missed the fact the U.S. doesn't have a state of emergency of the type declared like Canada?
No such destruction occurred in Canada. We have better social harmony here less reasons for minorities to be upset ( any related protests were peaceful and respectful ). The 'truckers' are unwanted and more disruptive, and most Canadians are NOT supportive of them at all. You are confusing the social strife in the US with the reality in Canada. In many ways, the 'truckers' are a bunch of Americans trying to import their cause to Canada, and not realizing we don't agree with them or want them here at all. Some may latch onto civil rights and technicalities on the government action, but ultimately most of us are fine with whatever measures to get these assholes off our streets.
