  1. I am amazed this nut made it across the border without getting caught.

What is more amazing is that he learned English and can type.

Question: Why do so many people on ET waste so much time reading and replying to this 12 year olds na-na-nah kind of discussion?

Whay not uplevel your lives and read the National Enquirer instead?

  6. Quote from crgarcia: Succesful people don't run a business from their own home. They rent or at least share some office space.

Right. They dress themselves in suits/ties, breakfast with WSJ, fight the 2-hour ride/drive to/from the office... where thousands of traders get to work... so that they can ignore each other for 7 hours.

Working from home has one advantage that seems to be foreign to you: Cost Saving.

If you already have the computer and networking equipment to work from home as effectively (if not more), why would you want to spend 2 hours of your life for the "highly productive" commute: getting stuck on the freeway or a jammed train?

RE: Working from home leads to lazyness.

You are right. But not the spelling. It is "laziness". As you probably are too lazy to do a spell-check.

Like going to use the copier, restroom, a cup of coffee every 30 minutes makes you a busy and productive person.

RE: (i.e. waking up late, taking a shower late or not at all, working in nondrescript clothes, etc.).

You are right again. Like everyone has the desk and computer and monitor right in their bedrooms and everybody works from home in underwears.

RE: But more important it leads to interruptions from family members and friends.

You are so right! Most of your friends are your neighbor, and that your study room doesn't have any door!

RE: Not to mention the social stigma.

Bravo! Gossiping with coworkers over lunches are great ways to maintain a healthy life!

RE: So, only losers daytrade from home?

Yap! That's it! Wonderful observation and brilliant conclusion!

RE: More even, Super-losers daytrade from their home, with a computer in their bedroom?

Yap! Remember the "bedroom" is in the basement!

RE: More yet, Super-ultra-losers daytrade from their parents' home they live in?

Yeah! All day traders are 20 to 30 some year old, have no reliable income, failed from school and won't ever move away from the parents!

THAT IS SO ME!!!!! You are telepathic!

(Or is it pathetic? I can't tell the difference. Both passed the spell checker.)

I trade from my home....4 high end servers in the office and one in my bedroom as Forex trades 24/5 and I occasionally need to the computer to wake me up. So what? Or does the yo-yo who started this stupid thread drive back to work to trade when Tokyo opens?

  9. Agree, these are dumb stories.
    I didn't said it (first).
I laughed too (maybe daytrading at the tractor is the cause of crop circles LOL).
