So your comment “they cannot carry any extra weight other than what they are” is obviously indefensible. Thanks for confirming this.

It IS defensible, because you have not provided a log of a flight with one of these magical EPs, with passengers and luggage?

If you can prove it, I am all for it! great! So let's go! Prove it can be done with full loads of passengers and luggage!

If you don't think that commercial EV planes can fly with passengers and luggage despite multiple manufacturers across the globe completing test flights -- then you better tell all the airlines like United to stop planning out their U.S. commercial routes using EV planes which are commencing in 2026.

Electric Planes Are Coming Sooner Than You Think
Electric aviation is no flight of fancy: Leading airlines like United and EasyJet are onboard as early adopters, with the first U.S. commercial routes slated for 2026.

The primary limitation on EV commercial planes at this time is their short range which is only about 400 miles. However this range is good for regional short hops with smaller numbers of passengers which are typically done by CRJ-50s and other small planes currently.

EV commercial planes are taking off globally. There are airlines world-wide placing orders and planning to turn up service.

And numerous manufacturers are making great strides forward.

you did say commercial. That heart plane has a 125mi batt range @ how many knots?...who knows. May as well drive there.

This is what I have failed to notice, and you have provided no links to a successful flight with passengers and luggage.

You should just admit your comment “they cannot carry any extra weight other than what they are” has no justification and just move on.

And also face the reality that EV commercial planes have a future in commercial air travel. Despite your assertions "only mini Fusion generators will make non-fossil-fuel planes possible and that is impossible at this time" - the reality that battery-based EV commercial planes will be taking to the air in about three years as regularly scheduled flights on major airlines and the routes are already being planned.

I know what they're saying. Elon has promised similar deadlines.

That is simply not possible, man! OMG, physics!

Well you better call all the EV Aircraft manufacturers and all of the airlines that are their customers --- and tell them that EV battery based aircraft are impossible and is a pipe dream based on your understanding of physics. And despite the many hours of design by experts and test flights their idea is simply not going to fly.

This might be a good time to mention that the primary driver for airlines to adopt EV planes are the operational cost advantages.

There is no chance in hell that an EP airplane will be able to do this in our lifetimes! Not unless we get fusion energy to power these behemoths!

You need to understand the energy involved and needed!
