Only 38% Approve of Trump Despite High Marks For Economy

  1. The Democratic bench, as it were, does not look deep. Sanders in 2nd place? Kamala and warren further back, and Peter Buttigieg, depending on the poll, bringing up the rear in the top five? Truth be told, if Trump screws up enough, I would give consideration to Kamala, Elizabeth, and Peter as Presidential possibilities. The problem that would still remain are all of these candidates all come encumbered with their association with the Radical Leftist controlled Democratic Party and their Liberal Media supporters.

  2. Are you implying New Yorkers cannot make practical decisions? Even without New York or PA, Trump can still win. If 2020 turns out exactly the same as 2016 except Trump losses PA’s 20 electoral votes, Trump wins EC 286 to Biden’s 252.

He would need to carry MI or WI again. He won MI by 11,000 votes/ less than a point with low black voter turnout. In 2018 Democrats won the MI Governors race by 10 points and the Senate race by 7.His approval in MI has dropped 23 points since he was elected.

He won WI by 22000 votes/ less than a point.Dems won the Senate and Governors races in WI by 13 and 17 points in 2018 and his approval has dropped dramatically since 2018 in that state is well.

He also needs to win FL again which will allow ex felons to vote for the first time,Democrats gained 5 and 10 points in statewide races after they did it.He as to win AZ again where a democrat won the Senate race in 2018 and Astronaut/Gabby Giffords husbend is favored to win the 2020 AZ Senate seat.Texas is also in play and Trumps approval has dropped in all those states as well.Biden will pick a black VP bringing black voters out like Obama did.

Yes Trump could still win but I like the democrats chances much better.

Poll: 60 percent say Trump should not be reelected

A new poll finds that a strong majority of voters believes that President Trump does not deserve a second term in office.

A Monmouth University survey released Wednesday found that only 37 percent of voters believe Trump should be reelected, while 60 percent said they think it's time to have someone new in the White House.

That's the highest percentage of voters saying they're eager for change since Monmouth first began asking the question in November. The numbers come weeks ahead of Trump's expected official launch for his 2020 reelection campaign.

Trump's approval rating is at 40 percent positive and 52 percent negative. That's at the low end of his approval ratings for the past 12 months, during which time his positive rating has been from 40 to 44 percent and his negative rating has ranged from 46 to 54 percent.
