Washington, D.C. -- Today, more than 60 leading scientists -- including Nobel laureates, leading medical experts, former federal agency directors and university chairs and presidents -- issued a statement calling for regulatory and legislative action to restore scientific integrity to federal policymaking. According to the scientists, the Bush administration has, among other abuses, suppressed and distorted scientific analysis from federal agencies, and taken actions that have undermined the quality of scientific advisory panels.

  3. O'neil continues his efforts on health (US) and Africa.

In particular, his trip to Africa showed that 50% of people did not have good water and that distributed shallow wells, properly maintained, could do the job cheaply. He has made this a project that he will push.

Moral Rearmament in the late 60's instituted a twin package of specialized hospitals and landing strips. It was worth every minute working on conceptualizing that projest and helping it financially. Glennie Close's dad was on point on this. We were Greenwich neighbors and Glennie was our baby sitter. Paul O'Neill is cut from the same cloth as the Close family. He will get the water job done before he dies.

If you want to throw some profits at an excellent project consider helping O'Neill out.

  4. Look at AAA's remarks. This is what the right wingers will try to do to all opposition. Ignore the issues, or distort and spin, and then denigrate the inidividual.

There is simply no comparison between a man of honor and integrity like O'Niell and that little punk the Oval Office.
