I bought the penny stock last year, but it becomes almost worthless now. I paid the penny stock at around $13000 for 12500 shares, but it worths less than $50 at this moment. But the problem is that there is no trading volumes for a long period of time, occasionally, there are some very small volumes(like a few hundreds shares in a day). And there is no bid/ask price for this stock, and I could not place the order online over scottrade website. How can I get rid of this penny stock? Even if I sell it at $0, I just want to claim the $13000 loss for this stock. So that it can lower my capital gain a little bit, since I made some money on other stocks during this year.
