Yep. They are the party of greater freedom. Even if they agree with righties in opposing violent protest, they still support expanded voting options. 1 + 1 > 1.
The GOP are the voter surpression specialists. They can't win by honest numbers much if the time. Expect wherever the vote is close for the GOP intentionally rig massive lines beyond what is unavoidable already this year and justify it all as covid precautions. Are you going to wait 10+ hours to vote? While in line are you going to tolerate GOP voter surpression operatives questioning the validity of your vote and making you run through hoops? They were talking about getting retired Seals and the like because they are more imposing. For someone like me, looking down on them bully boys are not a problem but I hear average size guys doing like being physically intimidated by cunts who are backed by five lawyers.
https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/03/early-voting-encourages-voting-on-limited-information/ Fraud is a genuine risk. Making early ballots disappear from overwhelmingly Democratic or Republican precincts could throw elections. Even if nothing inappropriate happens, as ballots gather dust, they generate suspicions of monkey business, especially in skin-tight races. Such doubts corrode confidence in institutions and officials. Even among angels, storing ballots for weeks risks their innocent misplacement, damage, or destruction in fires, floods, hurricanes, or tornadoes.
This argument really is not well formed. How are violent rioters and paper voting even related? If anything the existence of violent extremists who could harm voters encourages the use of a voting mechanism that keeps people out of harms way. You've made an argument for rather than against what you think you are arguing. Yes, it is certainly suspicious when one party suddenly starts pushing extremely hard for something that has many obvious faults. Especially one that has been proven to be nearly impossible to do right. Every paper vote has problems. They have an agenda and they're using COVID as the catalyst. Who knows what that agenda is but if we are allowed to go to bars and stores with a mask on we can certainly vote with masks on. I'd love to see your numbers on how many "suppressed" voters there are as a result of electronic election booths. They don't even check ID. Just like @Buy1Sell2 you've argued against yourself. Paper voting disenfranchises the homeless, non-felons who have voting rights but are currently in prison, and others who do not have a fixed address. Try again.
We couldn't possibly apply Occam's razor and assume the inverse to be the case....noooo, let's buy into conspiratarded BS instead....hell these dems probably engineered a virus to rig mail in voting.
I don't think it's conspiratorial to assume an eleventh hour push to overhaul the entire voting system must have some benefit to them. Politicians never do anything without some sort of potential gain. The same argument would be applied to the GOP if they did this. I'm not singling out the DNC alone because I don't like the DNC. I'm singling them out because their furthest left constituency is pushing this. It is the very textbook definition of suspicious.
