Josephus bears it out and fleshes it out. One funny thing in Genesis is that at about the time of the dispersal of the northern tribes the southern tribes were instructed to take in some peoples that were descended from the Giants!! I'm reading up on blood typing and where the different types originated from to see if that fits the facts.
