New functionality, dev, connections are being done on 8 as far as I can see. Try downloading NT7 or specific versions.

Many people are having issues with NT8. Hard to be specific about the internals, and also depend what you do. Try using Log() and see if it logs in correct order. Sometimes draw objects have different z order etc.

    Statistically, a ho-hum day...
406 NQ tics (net) per contract:58% of RTH hi/lo range of 695 tics.

Best day money-wise of the new year!!

    Whats strange about it?...
    14 trades, 13W 1L, 10 shorts, 3 longs.
    The loss was a short.
14 trades is less than half my average.

Trust the method, trade it, refine your knowledge.
    Money takes care of itself.

    Happy trading!

PS... thinking of starting an egomaniacal journal. Maybe.

After amicable PM discussions with other practitioners, I've decided it is best not to "pollute" this thread.

I feel it is important to make a reminder of some very fundamental decisions each practitioner must make in using the RDBMS(in particular) methodology.

    1) Choose between using Regular Trading Hours (RTH) or the 24 clock. The later includes the after hours and overnight trading sessions.

    2) Choose to degap bar-by-bar or use actual OHLC bar-by-bar. Discussions of this topic can be found elsewhere.

As prescribed by Jack, there is no choice... your operating environment is RTH only and degapping is to be performed bar-by-bar.

In departing this thread beyond certain discussions, I will say that aspects of Jacks prescription, IMO, may not be recognizing how markets have and are evolving, since the development of the RDBMS expert system.

The daily charts I've presented are non-degapped, 24hr charts.
My trading charts are RTH-only, non-degapped.

    Good trading to all.

  10. I've actually stopped logging RDBMS, as I prefer my mind map built on previous sct method. The whole harmonics aspect, scoring based on price volume and a/d, volume peaks and troughs, trend and channel lines from Jack and Spydertrader.

As taught by Magee et al. Which both Jack and Al Brooks seemed to have based their work on. Interesting how Jack dug more detail on the independent variable, while Brooks only focused on the price aspect but in the end they both are describing the same patterns and phenomenon.
