This is a particularly good concept to note; glad you mentioned this. Over the threads, especially in the later ones this came up a lot. There is a minimum gaussian required but no maximum as we see when trends often drift the same direction 2y2x, 2y2x, 2y2x. The term Signals of Change came up a lot. When sequences are totally complete AND we get a signal of change, the sentiment changes. I think this is one of the biggest stress-points needed to successfully trade the method. Most all can build containers, track sub-fractal gaussians, but knowing when a particular FTT is the new P1.. or at least being nimble enough to correct when WMCN doesn't makes or breaks things. I.e. mindlessly going short on every XR following Inc Black [post P3] that doesn't reach the LTL isn't going to cut it.
Since I've been annotating the sequence end, it is much easier to stay on the trading resolution. i.e. less fractal jumping. I've begun marking where I recognize jumps. All in all, It seems to be a missing piece for me. Yesterday 4/19 was a great day!! I'm mostly trading RTY lately... "safer" to trade these "new" and refreshed annotation ideas. Attached 2min trading chart from yesterday. Traded the pink resolution, and got it all, except the first and last 15 mins. Life is really good!!
New traverse down on rising/peaking red volume and declining black volume. SCT would of course be in at the nearest top or above , leading red volume toward channel RTL, keeping eye out on possible lateral price movements after ve and/or increases in black volume.
No. But I can show a QQQ daily from TradingView going back a couple years showing the RTL that *I BELIEVE* are in play. Which is why "everyone" in general, not necessarily those using JH , is perplexed. The CW being voiced by swing and longer term participants sounds like guessing and opinions. But that statement is also an opinion... mine! Oodles of money to be made in the nested fractals!! It's important to remember/review the guidelines and rules surrounding locations of points (see clean page 4), as well as the other stuff like BO, FBO, and the necessary volumes for point and event recognition. Also, as in a previous conversation with Hero, "now" can be studied for the sequence end versus sequence completion differentiation. I did not include volume on the chart because the BATS volume used by TradingView is not usable for volume analysis.
It was kinda hard to do it on paint so and my ninja wouldn't load QQQ today so I did it on NQ which was pretty much the same thing as QQQ with RTH settings. Still very new to this method but here's a try. Wrote 3 possibilities described inside. 1. Further down move on dominant volume until peak then to 2B move which can be an IB or XB or OB who knows with what volatility by then. 2. FBP to possible LAT or XR that can complete R2R2B2R 3. SYM to FTP to LAT to CCC which can complete R2R2B2R inside with IBGS.
Gold. Had to read that several times but that felt enlightening even though I don't think I even grasped everything that was said. I'm still reading through bunch of the archives and this piece I haven't got to yet. So every point 1 starts with trough and every point 2 is at a peak I guess? Which would follow that point 3 is another trough. Hence X2X2Y2X. Doesn't that mean we are in the third dominant leg at this moment until it peaks?
