Omicron was reported to target children proportionately more than other variants from the earliest reports out of South Africa.
Smoking has been shown to kill the person smoking, and second hand smoke has been shown without a doubt to conclusively harm anyone breathing it in. This is not at all - at all - like saying someone who has had a virus is now immune to that virus, and does not need to take a vaccine that has been short-cutted and doesn't stop the virus anyway! If the vaccine - as is being chanted over and over here - protects us from serious COVID, but cannot stop us from transmitting it, then how does me not taking a vaccine risk anyone but ME? If you are vaccinated and protected from severe Covid, and me vaxxing doesn't stop me from giving it to you, I don't follow how this is a problem for you?
"reported to". Like the same folks that told us cloth masks were "reported to" block COVID? Or different folks?
One of many links that provides no data at all. Just "Some top doctor in South Africa said so." Don't care. Come back when you have numbers. Until then, you're wasting my time.
The numbers in the U.S. and elsewhere on child hospitalizations in recent weeks are widely available and have been posted multiple times.
My post had nothing to do with vaxxing so you glossed over it and answered what you wanted to say before reading my post so...
Wife's granddaughter had covid-19 in 2020. She just got Covid again. Don't know if it is Omicron, but probably. Very sick and hard to breath on first infection (but no hospital). Just sort of flu-like sick second time. Still, no fun. She didn't see the need to get a vax (she's 20). I bet it would have prevented latest Covid infection. But then, if I was 20, doubt I would be wise enough to get vaxed either...
