Sleep is where we repair our bodies. Here quality ( going through all five steps and then cycling through the last 3 )is definitely more important than quantity.
That does sound like a good recipe. I'm going to try it with red salmon. I've switched from tuna to red salmon for the extra health benefits, higher omega 3's, lower mercury and high astaxanthin content.
I was in Napa with family this week, so lmk what you guys would like to discuss. Here's the new SS bar that arrived on Friday. 3xx grade SS and perfect welds. The center knurl (IWF required now) is like butter. The oly and PL knurling is light (but deeper than the center), but not so much so that you must use chalk. Perfection for $500. The Ivanko bars finishing is slightly higher-grade, but this GP bar has more whip at 1/2 the price. Honestly, I prefer this new bar. You can tell from the matte look that it's a natural SS bar and not zinc coated carbon steel. There is a recess on the plate-side of the sleeve so that the welds don't interfere with the plates. Delrin bushings are better than sintered bronze.
I take 4mg astaxanthin (b.i.d.) during the Summer months as I am at 6k elevation and we have >250 days of sunshine. 4mg daily the rest of the year.
That does it! I'm printing this pic, and demanding World's get some real gear in there! I'm sure they'll say what I can imagine... Damn nice bar! Those welds are flawless.
I've got retired family living at 5,500ft in CO. This sounds like a hell of an antioxidant. Should I add that to the earlier list of daily supps you recommended? Btw, what are you finding to be the main benefits to it? Last, I bought a 16oz jar of organic "Jarrow Formulas" extra virgin coconut oil today at WFM, and the stuff smells OUTSTANDINGLY sinful! MMMMM!!!! I'm sure I could have purchased a cheaper brand, but this stuff was on sale, and me being me, I fell for the cutie who pointed it out as her favorite. Lol! I'm planning on scooping this stuff into a pan, liquifying it, then putting either back in this black plastic "jar," or using a glass jar (preferred), then adding two of these to the glass jar, stirring and shaking http://www.iherb.com/Now-Foods-CoQ1...=en-US&w=now coq10 powder&rc=719&sr=null&ic=1 I'm trying to get to a 1gram dose with a heaping tsp. My concern is how do I keep the powder from sinking to the bottom, and settling that way in the jar? Uniformity is my goal with this. Also, I picked up a bottle of this from WFM http://www.vitacost.com/carlson-the-very-finest-fish-oil-lemon-16-9-fl-oz-2 for the EPA and DHA. How would this correlate to the supplements in your previous list? Once I get this stuff down, I make it routine, but I'm anal about getting it right from the start.
I've just added astaxanthin to my supplement list. Go to lef.org for info on this and many other supplements.
