I shouldn't have brought up the DNP. For one, I've never used it. Second, I'll never use it. Lol! I really can't believe some guys out here these days using what I'd consider to be poison in order to get where they could have gotten with D&E.
we dont have any good hiking down here, so I walk on the beach. The sand on the back portion of south beach is packed ( packed as in hard, not as in lots of people) . So its great for running and walking, has great views. I do lots of cardio, but mostly 2 3 hour hikes. At the gym I do light weight 20 reps. I used to go heavy and always seemed to get lightly injured, so just went down on weight and more reps. im 45
What kills me are these dumbasses saying, "man I just feel like shit on dnp. Can't even get in a good workout." Makes ZERO sense to me. Food, training, cardio, rest... I don't know why these dummies think being lazy is going to work in a sport where laziness is never rewarded, via results in the mirror. And yes, death isn't something I'm wishing to flirt with. People these days...
Can't let a good thread die. Since I'm cutting, this is appropriate for "dieters." I hate that word, as people see it, and cringe. Anyhow: TUNA CAKES (Yes, reminiscent of the good ol' crab cakes yum!) 3 cans tuna in water (Drained, of course) 1 cup Quaker large flake oats 1tsp onion powder 1tsp garlic powder 1tsp lemon juice (or lime) 2 large eggs (And as always, only buy gourmet onion and garlic powders!!) Put the cup of oats in a food processor, and grind them down to damned near a flower consistency. No worries if some larger pieces remain. Does for me every time. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, and come up with four patties. Spray frying pan with Pam. Cook over medium heat for 6 minutes/side Enjoy! These taste great with coctail (If you're smart, you'd make your own with ketchup, horseradish, and a squeeze of lemon) These also taste great with malt vinegar poured over the top You can do tartar if you want Yields (per patty) 294 calories 32 grams protein 26 grams carbs 6 grams fat If you're really smart, you'll triple the ingredients, cook, and have these during the week. Also, if you're wanting to gain mass, that's pretty simple. Add carbs. 1 more cup oatmeal (in addition to the above cup) 1 more egg
Hey LEAP, I for one appreciate the recipes. I don't like the word "diet" either but as I mentioned previously, I did tweak mine after I saw a few of your basic easy recipes and I've noticed a difference. Workout hard, then get the hell out of the gym. A little planning with your meals and your ahead of most.
Yes, the FOOD is everything. Next I consider sleep. After that, very intense, but short weight training (I used to stay in the gym 2+ hrs/day years ago, and that's dumb.) I like to train similar to Dorian Yates. Very intensely violent, then I get out of the gym, and eat. Oh, and speaking of Dorian, he's getting blasted right now for saying the holocaust was fake. I know he does bong hits, but what's in the bong? http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=161177123
A good chiropractor can help, too. Had some minor back irritation from squats and deadlift. Chiro helped alot with it.
