He's a vendor. He deals in risk free money...for himself. SEC needs to investigate all of the "I fund traders" bid'nesses.
Who in their right mind would trust a stranger of 50k of their own money? Obvious scam is scam. If it's too good to be true it probably is!
OK, but what are the proofs that is scam? I mean, where is the trick here? because he is posting real live videos trading, and making money, and also he is giving the $50K account. (I have some ideas about how the scam could be working, but I'm interested in your opinions)
What is the point of this question and why are you so interested in knowing? Don't tell me your actually considering paying for his program cause if so you're better off just giving the money to me and I'll tell what you what you wanna know, where to look & save you from being conned. I've looked him up and I can be almost sure he is one of those pseudo trading teachers and his prop trading firm sounds a little too good to be true. Something I have never even heard of before in all my daytrading experience. Just doing some simple google and I've found this... http://investimonials.com/Websites/reviews-ifundtraders.aspx See it doesn't even take 5 min to discover these things people just don't know where to look nowadays!
Well first the main reason for this is to know the truth and to warn to all the people searching info about Oliver Velez if it's a real scam. I think the biggest problem with Oliver Velez is it is becoming very popular, and he is using "influencers" (instagrammers, youtubers and bloggers) to promote his course, so that creates a strong confidence. I'm also confused if those influencers are part of the scam or they were just confused. So maybe would be great to give some proof, not just comments because people will believe more in the word of these influencers than some anonymous comment on the web. I will create a new post to talk about the "proofs", to avoid mixing with opinions
I just showed you the proof with that link. If you read each of their testimonials these guys paid for his course and each one of them got their money stolen. Who is gonna create a bunch of fake users just to ruin his reputation? This is solid proof!
The problem are the influencers and their videos showing the strategy in live with profit. People will always believe more in these influencers and videos than anonymous comments. I have created this new thread: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/oliver-velez-and-ifundtraders-scam-proofs.324740/
The problem with comments without any strong proof is this: http://investimonials.com/websites/reviews-elitetrader.aspx So we must conclude the users from here are morons because someone is commenting that?
