Oldest dinosaur nest site found

  1. and yet there are many right here on et who believe the earth is only 6000 years old based on the bible:

A nesting site for dinosaur eggs found in South Africa is 100 million years older than the previous oldest site.

Palaeontologists found 10 separate nests, each containing clutches of up to 34 eggs measuring 6-7cm.

The fossils are of the prosauropod Massospondylus, a relative of the long-necked sauropods such as Diplodocus.

They suggest that Massospondylus returned to the site repeatedly, laying their eggs in groups in the earliest-known case of "colonial nesting".

The 190-million-year-old finds also included embryonic dinosaur skeletons, and are described in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

  2. The bible is the story of 'man'--written by man. Written by stone-age people in the modern-day Middle East.

Question? Why don't the stories of mythical g*ds written by the Greek and Romans elicit such 'strong' reactions (typically)?

    Perspective.

I believe in several generations that faggotry (nothing wrong with that) and nihilism & rampant pyschotropic drugs, and living with your own clones will be the new norm.

A few thousand years here, a few thousand years there; 'dust & nothingness.'

Live your life as YOU choose according to YOUR experiences and YOUR own decisions. Be independent and don't compromise based on what others may try and tell you what to do and how to act (once you are of legal age).

Evolve; but do it for you.

  3. This is silly, of course it is .... everyone knows dinosaurs walked on earth
no more than 4000 years ago.
They were house pets too. Lucky there were not any pooper scooper laws back then.

  4. Sure... In Scandinavia where people live off of the welfare socialist state and off of the natural resources of the land. Everywhere else where people have to work for a living that ain't gonna happen.

That would be a complete and total degenerate society that would quickly get destroyed by more aggressive and competitive ones...!

  5. You Sir have never been at a Southern California bathhouse on a hot summer Friday night, now have you?

They just might be 'olympian' in their pursuit--competition be damned!

    : )

Who here believes the earth is only 6000 years old? And you'd better be able to list at least four people, one or two or even three hardly adds up to "many".

Also, pointing to some very old dinosaur nests is a very round about way of making your case for an ancient earth, because it leaves the question, how did they date the dinosaur eggs? The answer of course, is through radiometric dating of rocks. That being the case, just point to the evidence from the rocks, the dinosaur eggs tell us something new about the evolution and behavior of dinosaurs but nothing new about how old the earth is.
