What is your focus in trading? ....and what do you prefer as vehicles? Any interest in trading open-ended (Rydex or Profunds) index funds with a very next TD focus?
all coders fail because they can not first thoroughly think out the trading process. they simply don't know what their doing, because you can not learn what to do without losing copious amounts of money actually trading to be thoroughly educated. it's a rich mans game, i was lucky some rich guys funded my coding ability and if it was not for their money supporting me i never would have figured it out. it takes real money in the game to understand the markets, nothing else can teach you that. coding is only a applicator of the paint you mix. passion is utmost necessary no doubt..
I feel that coding and trading go side by side. If you want to trade well, you must know a little bit of programming.
that is not my experience. I coded a model first then use my money to go live. No trading experience before that
