The republicians in the Senate and House for the most part are just being good soldiers and following orders. It is improbable that all of them consistently agree 100% on so many issues. They are still paper trained, memory of Delay dancing in their heads. If the republicians actually voted their own thoughts and beliefs you would see many more split votes, yes just like you see on the democrat side . The democrats downfall is they have too many independent thinkers and the strength of the republicans have the majority are sheep, they are hard wired to follow the leader a trait also seen in religious zealots. If the republicians fought among themselves like the democrats do we would have better legislation and creative thinking coming from both sides.
