Nice to see the shift, but we still need to see more solar / wind-powered electric options and fuel as the last power resort.
We should ALL be driving electrics cars around town. Oops, forgot... can't do that. The power grid can't support it. We'll need to spend lots of money to bring the grid up to snuff. Oops, forgot... can't do that either. The money we needed for infrastructure upgrading has been spent in Iraq. (One nice thing though... the Iraqis have a bunch of new office buildings, homes, roads, water facilities... AND have built up an $80Billion reserve from oil sales. We can all be proud of our role in that.)
Raise taxes and start some major infrastructure programs, electricity grid, roads, bridges. This will create a lot of jobs and opportunities. (edit: Throw out the warmongers and restore some semblance of sanity to our foreign and domestic policies.)
Sure, that would put some people to work... but it's just a form of socialism. America won't return to economic power until we once again "make things and sell them to the world"... unfortunately, you'll not see that in your lifetime.
gm is toast. they are now at the end of the soup line. had they been only marginally more incompetent - they could have gotten first dibs on the bail out express. i think there is a 50/50 chance they will get some "tough love" when they go to the government teet.
Raising taxes will do nothing but increase the defecit, eliminate jobs, kill the economy. Even the boy "genius" Obamanothing is coming to understand this.
You know everyday more and more I feel as I am getting screwed following the rules and living with integrity and honesty. They should just handout Vaseline to those who live with integrity and honesty and it seems to be those in the middle. Listen to this crap! My child is not allowed to go the the cafeteria and get a chocolate milk because I pay $6000 year tuition in a pre-k public school system. But those on reduced lunch programs who pay nada, their children are entitled to the free milk if they wish. Holy f!@#@%#$!!!! bend over and get royally screwed Batman.
What is a center stack? Is that the teeny bopper lingo for center console? I don't like the styling of the center console at all....the white doesn't work. It looks like some cheap european electronics product in the white color and the way the styling of the instruments are designed. Probably will forever look dirty with the first coffe spill and I doubt it won't hold up and will look like crap in less than a year. That's probably why you never see center consoles that are white But I am sure you can get all that in a better color. Other than that the styling of the overall vehicle is sharp. Nice looking car overall.
