Clearly your only knowledge of Harris is through the Fox lense which vilified her as much as CNN or MSN vilified Trump. Both Democrat and Republican parties are an amalgamation of special interests which do a disservice to democracy in general by folding everyone under a political umbrella. For example, a northeastern Republican is likely to be more progressive than a southern Democrat. I championed and continue to agree with Schwarzenegger, a California Republican who is ostracized in MAGA Republican party. I believe in multi party systems, where people vote for their preferred party then, based on election results, negotiate with each other for a place in government. Trump should be able to create a Nationalist Party, like others should be able to create a conservative or centrist or socialist or whatever party. We can have a civil conversation and strongly disagree without insulting one another. You proof of my complaints about social media!
We're headed for another permanent underclass, and your suggestion may come true when their full voting power emerges.
It is part of the lefty script to have everyone believe that if Trump got elected it would be as a result of him appealing to some racist, old white folks support and it would be an ugly blight on America. Nope. He got support from older white folks, younger voters, suburban women, latinos, blacks, women, etc, etc. He increased his support in all those areas while Kamala decreased her support (numbers were down from what Biden and Hillary got in those categories). Nice broad-based support for Trump. The lefties are butt-hurt because so many people that they thought they owned turned out to be American first and party affiliated second. Trump worked his arse off going to blue states and communities to build support and coalitions in "enemy territory" and it paid off. That was not an ugly appeal to racists. It was old fashioned meeting with those who disagree with you and gaining their support. Grueling, footwork, four to five rallies and meetings a day- week after week with people criticizing him for meeting with people and states who allegedly would never support him. It was beautiful. Nice broad-based win for Trump. Proud to be an American today.
The content of your post is why she lost and lost big. People across the board, all races, both sexes, true believers and atheists, gay or straight, all rejected the endless and very tiresome drumbeat of everyone is a racist, sexist, fascist, on and on. People also rejected the idea that those that abandoned any semblance of democracy are somehow the defenders of democracy. They rejected that the party of science cannot accept basic biology. They rejected a party which claims to be all about women's rights while watching men destroy women's sports. They rejected a party who used to be advocates of peace and are now war mongering lunatics. I mean, WTF were you and your echo chamber friends thinking when an endorsement from the Cheney deuo was a good idea? That in itself should tell you just how completely out of touch you are. It's best you moved. Good luck
I don't think so sweetie pie. I was able to see the writing on the wall and got the call right (here's evidence). You're the one whose world model collapsed and lost your money. So, if you'd like to learn something, read carefully... You are probably like most politically naive people and believe that government is some kind of benevolent institution meant for the betterment of mankind. Since this is all you know, you think Kamala is a reasonable centrist/moderate with the best intentions. However, until you understand what James Madison was talking about in Federalist 51, that men are not angels, you'll only know half the picture. Politicians (especially) are not angels... a great many of them are attracted to politics because they have no skills that are in demand by productive society. When these people enter government it goes from a benevolent institution to one that simply leaches off a free populace. It becomes a giant lying theft/war machine. Of course there are shades of grey, but until you realize the left/right spectrum is much broader than you know you'll continue to see Trump as "orange man" and Kamala as a "moderate". Nothing is further from the truth. Men are not angles. Kamala is not a "moderate". Orange man isn't badâ„¢. This is not about what news channels people watch. You are old enough to know better. I'm sorry you don't like the facts, but the reason you're "butt hurt" is because you simply aren't that knowledgeable yet. You need to leave your bubble and start considering ideas that don't always fit your saccharine tastes. IOW.... grow up! At 61 it might be too late, try anyway.
The Democrats underestimated the male Hispanic vote, ese. They thought they could win with women getting them upset over not being able to kill their babies.
Yes. It was a "coin flip" for weeks, despite all the enthusiasm. And as of this morning... still only a 4 million vote difference between them, and the winner is still a million votes shy of how he did in 2020.
There are inaccuracies with your message post but I will point out only a few. Liz Cheney was not the only Republican endorsement for Harris. There were hundreds of endorsements from Republicans for Harris but Cheney was one of the few to be hyped because she was on the January 6th Committee to investigate Trump... She sacrificed her political career with no regrets but I think she'll return to politics as a Republican outsider who supports candidates on both sides in her home state. The flaw with Republican endorsements is that Harris put the Cheney endorsement above the other Republican endorsements when in my opinion the Cheney endorsement should have been less visible as an endorsement while hyping a Republican endorsement from a swing state in the south. Yet, it does highlight the flaws on both sides of the camp when using endorsements from the other political party. It's a direct link to Billionaire endorsements...very problematic in my opinion and Harris had more Billionaire endorsements than Trump but her Billionaire endorsements were LESS visible than Trump's. You know, the deep state is evil but only when it does not serve our agenda. Democracy will survive Trump and any other political party because there are too many watchdog activists and enough inner circle people willing to expose the flaws of their political leaders in their efforts to protect Democracy. I remember a younger Trump when he was flip-flopping from one political party to another as if he was testing to determine which party would be open to his messaging. Yet, one thing that stands out is his connection to sports celebrities such as boxers, football, UFC, and those pre-fight media stunts. What's that saying that Trump once said after hearing a boxing trainer say it...Go Big or Go Home. Something that we as traders understand because its a high-risk, high-reward strategy. It's the irony with Trump because it's not conservative as a Republican politician. Trump even has a large collectible collection in one of his New York offices involving many of those media stunts from Boxing and other sport events. My point, Trump has many years of learning and perfecting the power of "publicity" to attract voters. America loves entertainment since its speakeasy and prohibition days of glamorizing celebrity criminals. Democrats abandon many of its principles just as much as Republicans abandon many of it's principles...it no longer matters who abandons the most. Best everyone moves on but there will be more political threads about the economy, immigration, Wars, ethnic attacks, and general chaos now that Trump has regained the White House. That's what a majority of America wants and is OK with it because Trump knows how to deliver a punch (pun intended). By the way, O.J. Simpson was guilty as fuck but America (his jury) found him innocent. My point, we are well known to not get it right but must respect the results because a majority of America (those that voted) has decided. wrbtrader
