According to my data coffee is trading around 140 now and a low of 93 was made way back in 1981 and a high of 391 was made in 1986
coffee grinds down, rumor of rate hike large crop and zero bullish news will keep it where its at for now. still short my calls flat in the futures arena now. re entered some length in my copper spreads they look good, eurodollar spreadsare working against me and just waiting to get out of crude. anybody else see anything
how big is the correlation between sugar and crude prices. I know in parts they use it for ethanol but how strong has this relationship been historically?
???? I guess pull up two long term charts. Brasil makes all their ethanol from sugarcane, it's a viable alternative at least to corn based ethanol. The relationship has certainly grown stronger. But in the late 1970's when the gas crisis happened sugar spiked to 50-60 cents
coffee getting very oversold but lack of any good news the grind continues lower. huge support at 135 i
Im stopped out on Coffee and Sugar for minor losses. Still long OJ. Man wild swings all over. The only market going higher Gold holding steady now at 950 for a possible push up - next week. Otherwise short term plays are paying the bills
yeah tight stops are a must man, especially in this day and age. wild wild fucking markets, I got my clock cleaned shorting the shit out of coffee when it ran up to 155.00. I think we pop from here though, good oj play and gc is going up up up
