I've searched everywhere for this and can't seem to find an answer. Is there a way to trade a micro contract of WTI crude oil (100 barrels) with Interactive Brokers? So far the best I've found is a mini futures contract at 500 barrels per contract. A CFD would work too.
I looked at QM. That's the mini futures contract with a 500 multiplier (500 barrels per contract). I'm looking for a product with a 100 multiplier, basically a micro contract.. if it exists. Some FX brokers offer it as a CFD, usually called USOIL or LIGHT.
Calendar spread could work. Or someone else suggested option spreads. I'd still prefer a product to trade the underlying straight if it's available. Sometimes the duration of trade is short and I fear spreads may not yield the desired result. I want to be able to setup a stop $2 away without risking $1000, that's a bit too rich for my blood.
