    FED emergency cut imminent imo.

    50 to 100 basis.

I have a bet with both my partners. They think I am crazy.

Look at the ESZ8 book. No volume at any level, and look at the overall volume.

    Fear.

YM totally out of whack with ES. YM should be down another 200.

    Flight to quality premium.

There is no perfect hedge, but short UUP might do it in a pinch.

I had to use a different more liquid contract to lock profits. like a spread trade. but this market it nuts, the bill almost passed, -500 day should change the mind of a few politicians. there is no way they wont pass some kind of bill

If you watch Cspan, one of them was asking if he could change his mind.

I think they played politics, so that they would be seen as having voted nay by their constituents. They all believed it would pass because the other guy would vote aye, and guess what, not doing the right thing instead of worrying about politics, and you are fucked.

Morons. I would fire them all.

yes, all of the sudden a bunch of suporters will emerge when they see the meltdown they created. I think the fed will use washington as a guide here, if no good bill then they emergency cut and we are headed to japanese rates, if they have a good bill then I think they wait for the next meeting

This sell off is on tiny volume [given the context]. 3.5M ES?

I do not put a great deal of weight on it.

For investors. Don't be afraid. Nibble at good companies here.

    Some ideas I gave before:

    HBC
    NKE
    MSFT
    IBM
    MRO

In fact, buying SPY is a good trade now. QQQQs are a strong second.
