Oil beginning to threaten SIFs

There is a strong buyer(s) NQ at these levels. If "his" bullets exhaust, watch out below.

Most of his courage comes from the selloff in oil and the China oil news. It may appease the FED from raising rates, but imo the FED is not raising rates at this coming meeting anyway. Come October, watch out for the FED, but their time frame for taking back the rate cuts imo is more tied to the unemp rate than anything else imo.

This is now totally out of whack. NQ strength is now not just the oil selloff, but rotation out of oil into tech.

Spreaders are selling NQ and buying ES [Note, that trade is not necesarily intra-day. That rubber band may take a few days to snap back].

    This is ominous.

Pull up a longer term chart and you will see support at places like 1328, 1320, 1315-1317.

Would I buy any of those? Probably only 1320, but this is not good if it loses 1329.xx SPX. Futures want lower badly, interestingly enough the cash is getting some flows. But that probably ends badly.

But stay awake, as a late day surprise may occur.

I am beginning to see signs of a potential intra-day bottom. Believe it or not, imo this is not a sell.

Would I buy? Maybe 1315 - 1320 [huge range I know, but that means you have to do price action reading and probably have a quick finger, so keep your holster greased], but I would not sell these lows, which is normally high odds on.

If oil sells off, buy SIFs with terminal force at any price near here [1324].

If you took this trade, it came to roost some yesterday, and is now snpaping back some more.

If there is ever a layup in trading, this was one of them.

Ford, GM and Chrysler on credit watch news, and the swap market and the SIF market are correlated and cointegrated.

Still, I think it is a bunch of shit. I mean, who doesn't know that American auto makers are way behind the Japanese in fuel efficient cars, and that some huge % of American auto makers PnL is from gas guzzling SUVs + trucks that you can't give away now?

    Come on. Old news.

Hard to imagine a rally in SIFs with QM + $3.00

Still, this is a support area. Only for pros, holster ready and buy 1315.xx SPX. Two handle stop loss.

Where to take profits? You know the routine if you follow this thread. But what is important is, that this trade cannot lose since the stop loss now moves to B/E. I would turn the trail on when 1320 gets taken out.

I would be a pig as long as QM goes nowhere or lower.
