One only need to look at Fox News and it's ratings success to see where the average American would like to get his or her news from. The problem is that places like the NY Times are 100% in the opposite direction of that, and folks are voting with the wallet.
Fox News, first place in cable news ratings. Rush Limbaugh raking in a cool million a week just from his radio show. NYT crying for a bailout. Liberalism has a high cost.
