Thanks for your kind words. I use TransAct AT platform. It is very similar to Trademaven, Strategy Runner and Ninja Trader, if you are familiar with those platforms. As to the fills, I never (almost never) place market orders, as I have mentioned earlier in this journal. The only exception is when the tick is 1000+ or 500- . In those fast markets, I will not get filled with limit orders. So I make this exception, if I feel the move is not completely over. Even then, I do not hit "buy market" or "sell market" buttons -- ever. I will still make it a limit order but place it at ask price instead of bid price. This ensures I get "at market" without slippage. As a consequence, most of my orders stand in line with others and get executed in the order they are placed. So the answer to "how quick" depends on how many are in front of me in the line. Usually I watch the volume on bid/ask very closely before placing my orders, so I usually get filled reasonably quickly. I hope this is of some help.
