  2. Your money management strategy depends on a large account to manage all of those simultaneous trades. However, what you aren't recognising is a very basic mathematical concept. All of your trades reduce to one net trade. You're either positive or negative; losing or gaining. The result is the same - a net directional trade which is a gamble.

  3. in case you haven't noticed, it is generally accepted as poor form to brag when you are winning

    who does that help?

how you deal with your losses is much more interesting

  4. I'm not bragging. I am pointing out to you the absurdity of your comment earlier that a little more drop in the EURUSD and you'll never hear from me again.

If I am losing at a rate of 1$/pip, realistically what is the total amount I can actually lose? What is the EURUSD realistic low?

Parity, means a loss of 2988 further from where I am. A drop to 0 means a further $10,000. So, my total potential loss is $12988 + $108 - my current profits. How likely is it that the EURUSD his headed to 0.

  6. I've seen them come and I've seen them go

eur keeps dropping and your 1k will get tired of going to the bucket shop

you'll keep delivering alcohol. and your excess 1k will go to the credit card (if you are lucky)

  8. Only if you accept the attitude that a directional trade is a gamble. I don't believe it is. I believe you can predict direction just as you can predict weather. Beside every prediction is attached a probability. Saturday: Rain 80%.

For example: 30% chance of Interest rates going up in USA. Bad for the economy. Good for the dollar. Can we attach a possible probability to the EURUSD falling after such an announcement? I think we can.

  10. I'm not limiting myself to one direction. Recently, I have chosen to be long, but if there is clear trend I will modifiy my direction. Look at the weekly chart. We're still deeply stuck in a range. In a range, either direction is equally valuable.
