Maybe that needs to happen. Maybe a national blowup of monumental proportions will finally destroy the whole idea of big government and allow us to get back to where we need to be.
Let me get this straight.... Instead of a broad based tax cut to ALL Americans, thus stimulating the economy, they would rather raise taxes on the worker and instead spend trillions on a stimulus program that would reward the largest campaign donors?
It's disgusting, isn't it? In 50 years, we'll look back at the movie 'Idiocracy' and be amazed at its predictive value.
At least it's a funny movie. Not so sure about living it for real tho...there weren't any people left with an IQ over 70. What'd they do with all the smart folk...shoot em?
you don't have go that far..at this pace a decade will be more than enough. more tv and electrolytes!
Of course he'd say that because he doesn't know shit. Ask any economist and they'll tell you the exact opposite. What a true dipshit.

First of all, Andrea Tyson is not a "he". She is a professor at the University of California at Berkeley at the Walter Haas School of Business, of which I am an alum. Second of all, everyone here on ET seems to think that the stimulus package has already hit the "streets" of the Economy. Not true. Do some research and you will see that a majority of it (is back-end loaded) and hasn't even "hit" yet and won't even begin until September, and in 2010 in earnest.
