Now you can finish up this consideration and move away from industry and the military and begin to focus on "markets". You might want to consider markets from a money manufacturing viewpoint but that would be a poor choice as well. The output of industry is profits that are dependant on blah blah.... Profits from markets do not come about in the same context. They come from agreements of participants. This is not a paradigm that Demming has any experience with.
