Must have been a false start, somebody jumped the gun, ROFL! Such is life in the financial world! ) Kelly
Congrats to those that predicted >95. The boyz were successful in blindsiding many players with all the price changing at the end, so many who would have bought at 85 were not prepared.
PS I posted a while ago that everyone hated the deal so much it would prob go up. That was BEFORE the price reduction. Should have listened to my own BS.
You gotta love overhyped IPOs. It's like we're back in the good old dot com days when Qualcomm went from like $30 to $500 in less than a year, and the "experts" predicted it would hit $1000. Professionals (in my humble opinion) would rather have steady solid gains, and thus avoid IPO's. Gamblers go for the quick buck and the big thrill, and thus jump in like gangbusters. I'm staying out, though my lack of faith in humanity says it'll probably double or triple its original IPO price before it crashes into the ground a short while from now. Reality kicks in after a while, but not before the masses have gambled their kid's college fund away. p.s. Sorry for the pompous bitterness, I'm quitting coffee again.
watching this thing run is so tempting. i've been fighting myself not to jump in since 98. when it collapses, it's gonna be ugly.
Yeah somehow I am not surprised that it didnt collapse but then it isnt ripping either. Too much hate for this on the street, between the day traders, the banks and the media. The contrarian view won.
That was a wild first half hour! I was putting offers out there .50-.75 above and getting filled & buying back with my Hot Key on the bid. + $5000 I done googling for the day
