offering, conversions, etc...

  1. Say there's a market limit order that's aggressively stepping down on the offer and you have a conversion on the stock. You'd initally short some with the conversion, but after 2 price levels, you see it is a very good opportunity and you short again. Now..conversions, you are artifically long, and if you uptick it, wouldn't you likely to stop the downward movement?

    Do you guys offer through on Arca, brut, INET?

    I know in arca, you can offer through as it fills you by time

    In brut, I think it doesn't really matter if you offer through as your sell goes a penny above the bid (rule for short selling) anyways.

    Not clear on INET/ISLAND...I heard that if you offer, and it upticks, it automatically cancels your offer? Can you offer through on INET?
