Cuba expropriated millions of dollars of assets belonging to US companies and citizens. Those cases will have to be resolved going forward. The major cuban cigar brands would be infringing on US trademarks now as well. So without some resolution of that issue, they are not going to be coming in here.
Uhhh he is wasting taxpayer $$$$ flying to CA for fundraisers .. that worked out well for him and the Dumbcrats in November, huh?. Obama's Flight Expenses Alone Over $1.1 Million for CA Fundraising in October
It is unfortunate that you decided to test out of all those humanity classes you should have taken when you were in college.
He's not "destroying the country", that's hyperbole. And you're one of a minority of persons who is seeing a sharp increase (beyond the strong increases that were the norm before the ACA) in premiums. The independent market is what, about 5% of all those insured?
Lets see if Obama can screw this one up too. By the end of negotiations we will be making reparations, letting them keep the assets they appropriated and surrendering our companies IP in exchange for a new flotilla of their worst criminals and communist community organizers.
I'm told the beaches in Cuba are second only to those in Thailand. I thought Thailand's were phenomenal, but only tied with Seychelles. Either way, it would be great to get Cuban beaches opened up to American visitors.
So what if the independent market is 5%. That's 100% irrelevant. Why are people like me FORCED to buy a product that does not meet our needs? If you want to go buy a fuel efficient car would you be happy if Odumbo mandated you buy a gas guzzling Escalade? And would you be happy to subsidize crappy drivers? As far as destroying the country .. well, the national debt is what $18 trillion. And it was $10 when he entered office. So 80% increase in 6 years is good? And Odumbocare will add a shitload more to the debt as 90% of the out of shape slobs get rewarded with subsidies for abusing their health.
It's not irrelevant, you can't make decisions on such a scale without there being some who lose, it's naive to think differently. The debt exploded because of non-discretionary spending soaring (while revenues tanked), that is, Obama had nothing to do with it, it's the law (and the Great Recession). Fortunately, two thirds of that debt is still owed to Americans themselves, in their own currency.
