Odds Czar: Simple Biases in the Futures Markets 2006

Discussion in 'Journals' started by Art Collins, Jan 2, 2006.

  1. Art's futures biases for Nov. 24.

A "1" means bullish bias. A "-1" means bearish bias. The total is the sum of biases. A positive sum will be long bias. A negative sum will be a short bias. A sum of zero will be a neutral bias.

Despite the seasonal bullishness in the stock market, I’m going with the majority of the indicators for Monday. In addition to the either-ors giving neutral to bearish readings, I like the topping-cap setup and the bearish open-to close readings, each occurring in two of the markets in the less-frequent second box. The intraday chart action—a sharp sell-off from late-session daily highs--was pretty bearish as well.

Both the either-or and less-frequent indicator boxes are urging sells in the 10–year notes for Tuesday. This is un-contradicted by any other market in the complex.

The bond complex is showing even greater sell potential than the last couple days. I’ll accordingly be aggressively shorting the 30-year on Thursday.
