admittedly, some truth to that. Doesn’t negate what I’m putting out there though. If you feel the CzarCharts are some poor man’s second best to the Big Treasure Out There, again, I’d have to respectfully disagree. I think the historical performances are pretty significant and exciting.
    Again….that's for what it’s worth….to whomever it’s worth….

  2. Art's futures biases for June 16.

A "1" means bullish bias. A "-1" means bearish bias. The total is the sum of biases. A positive sum will be long bias. A negative sum will be a short bias. A sum of zero will be a neutral bias.

Take note of the sudden shift from wishy-washy buy to definitive sell mode in the indexes. Several CNBC commentators observed a near-instantaneous shift from an over-sold to overbought condition. Perhaps they've got it right on the money this time. Keep in mind that recent index history does not provide for many instances where a runaway day (in either direction) is followed by a second one (in either direction). Expect choppiness with the probable downward trajectory.

Was Thursday's screaming up-move in the stock market a mere short-covering upside blowoff? Probably, according to the CzarCharts. They're flashing solid across-the-board sell signals for Monday.

The CzarCharts are failing to give any definitive index-related signals, although they are more long-than-short biased at the moment. Note that the day-of-month indicator has just turned positive, which is throwing the combined calendar signals into positive mode. The three boxes on the Nasdaq and Russell are clearly bullish. Consequently, I could almost justify buying the market on Thursday, and for sure would discourage selling. But again, you're not seeing confirmation across the complex.

A better play would be to sell the currencies. I've been attempting to do this for the last couple of days and have been getting resistence, but when the next downleg hits, it should dwarf the slight rallies of the last few days.
